Based on the readings, what factors were important in religious change, such as the significance of the Muslim veil or the emergence of a new religious movement, the urban rastas? Identify a religious change, either the emergence of a new movement or the change of a ritual, practice, or dogma, you have observed in your own culture. Provide evidence for that change, in the form of a reference. How would you explain that change? What social, economic, or cultural factors led to the change?
