Read Compliance Program Guidelines
So, you are the compliance officer of the pharmacy department at Green Tree Hospital. Your assignment is to develop a compliance program for your pharmacy department. Where do you begin?
Review the article assigned for this week's reading plus one or two additional articles on compliance programs. To find additional articles sift through the regulatory and compliance agency web sites you visited during Weeks 01 and 02. For example, search the web site of the Health Care Compliance Association at https://www.hcca-info.org Check out any material or articles that relate to building a compliance program. Try searching for the phrase, "Evaluating and Improving a Compliance Program."
Create a 3-4 pages in which you summarize what you feel are the main points you should consider as you begin to develop your program. Be sure to refer to your research. Your report using proper mechanics in spelling, grammar, and sentence structure. Add a short page of References at the end in APA format.
