Introduction of the Document:
According to the American Heart Association, there are 5 recommendations for obesity. The first recommendation is to identify the patient who needs to lose weight. The second recommendation requires counselling patients who need to lose weight on lifestyle changes. The third recommendation was investigation of diets which are used for weight loss. The fourth recommendation is on the behavioural interventions for weight loss and the fifth one involved pharmacotherapy for obesity. The obesity patients should be managed with intensive behavioural therapy. They should include a change in diet and physical activity. A dietary prescription is effective. Alternative medication should be those medicines which cause weight loss. The compromises which are made in this time is that people give very less efforts and importance to weight loss and obesity.
