Here is the assignment:
You are to write a 3-4 page paper (typed, double-spaced, 12point font) on the topic of capital punishment. Drawing from all the sources above, please address the following question: In your view, is capital punishment consistent with a Christian worldview? Your response need not be all or nothing, you might think that it is consistent in certain cases, or under certain conditions, and that is fine. In your response, you will need to provide 1) a thesis statement that clearly states your argument, 2) evidence to support your claim (drawn from the sources of moral reasoning within the Christian tradition), 3) proper citations for your evidence (identify whether your evidence comes from a certain text, from the film, from your time with Sr. Prejean, or from lecture).
