Instructions

After watching the short video, Complex Change in Higher Education by Fred Buining, create a video, website, timeline (similar to the assignment in week three), essay, PowerPoint, or other creative way to address the following:

• Reflect on various changes that have influenced the reconfiguration of American higher education in the twenty-first century.

• Select two of the topics listed above that you feel have made the greatest impact on higher education. Critically analyze the influences of past eras on present-day higher education.

• Evaluate how these topics are impacting higher education today, and discuss recommendations for change.
Guidelines for the Final Project

• Essays should be between ten to twelve pages in length (not including the title and reference pages).

• Videos should be approximately eight to ten minutes in length.

• PowerPoint presentations should be between eight to twelve slides and include Speaker's notes, title, and reference slides.

• A timeline should include each of the covered eras with all of the above components addressed for each.
