Question: Reflect on our culture's obsession over superheroes and the role they might play in today's society. Think back to earlier historical periods. Didn't we talk about Hammurabi being given the law by God (see Hammurabi's stele). Think about Greek myth - where are all these God-men coming from? What about even the Lion-man we saw from the Upper Paleolithic? Why the prevalence of this idea in every historical period?
