As noted in the resources this week, health care professionals can be leaders of social change. As you preparefor this Discussion:
- Reflect on how you would like to harness all you have learned to be an agent for social change in your community as a health care professional.
- View several videos from the Scholars of Change website.
By Day 4, post a thoughtful response to the following:
- What can you do as a scholar of change to initiate change in your community? What can you do to initiate change outside of your community?
- What have you learned at Walden that has strengthened your ability to initiate social change?
- What was missing from these courses that would have enhanced your awareness of social change in the field of health care?
- What was present in your classes (in assignments and in classroom Discussions) that contributed to your understanding and/or appreciation of social change in health care?
