Review the Learning Resources, particularly the chapter on the functions of language.
Submit a 2 to 3 page paper in which you:
1) Briefly describe an interaction you observed or in which you participated where language was used in an exclusive way that i) labels others or expresses unsupportive messages; ii) demonstrates clear, cultural bias related to race, gender, age, sexual orientation, or ability through language; AND/OR iii) expresses a lack of inclusive language.
2) Reflect on how the interaction seemed to affect the relationship between the communicators.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
