What causes public agencies to end up outside the mainstream and on the boundary?
Bureaucracies have been thriving for many years. A bureaucracy is a hierarchical organization in which divisions have specified tasks and employees are assigned responsibilities based on knowledge, merit, and experience (Taylor & Francis, 2013).
Bureaucracy is an important aspect of the government because it help form the objective for the organization and it helps to provide needs of the people (Lesson Three, 2018).
The Federal Government is considered a bureaucracy in that it's complex organization based on principles of bureaucracy: Hierarchical authority, job specialization, and formalized rules (n.d.).
