So-called "white nationalism" is as old as the United States itself. It is not different or distinct from white supremacy. Although Spencer's white supremacist views may seem to you "extreme," he is not stating anything new. Rather, he is repeating themes from the old, Eurocentric worldview (see textbook Chapter 4). What specific repetitions can you identify? I hope you disagree with Spencer and are appalled by the resurgence and "rebranding" for young people of traditional, 19th century white nationalism. How would you respond to his claims or arguments?
