However, I want you to go further with fallacies. The most comprehensive text I've ever used was conveniently written by my dad and one of his colleagues (and one of my professors!) who taught philosophy at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois. I've updated this resource for ease of reading, mostly, so you'll recognize that a lot of references are from the early 2000s, when their textbook was published. This is a longer reading but necessary for writing non-fallacious arguments. Read it carefully - you'll need a good understanding of rhetorical fallacies for the discussion (and for our exercise of Jeopardy!).
After reading the definitions of Logical Fallacies, you likely started to recognize situations (TV ads, social media posts, discussions you've had with friends, past educational experiences, interactions with family members) that you now recognize as relying on a logical fallacy.
