2. The article discusses some of the experiences that gay and lesbian parents encounter as they raise their families. This article is a bit old, but still very pertinent. Even though same-sex marriage is now legal, there are still many legal aspects of parenting that have not been addressed if you are not the biological parent. In addition, societal attitudes towards gay and lesbian families are still difficult in some parts of the country.
