The highlighted version has the most important parts of the dialogue to read.

Respond to the following questions: What are the charges brought against Socrates? What reason does Socrates give to explain why they have brought these charges? How does Socrates understand his own mission? Socrates complains that the Athenians care more about money, power, and fame than they do about "the greatest improvement of the soul." What do you think he means by "the greatest improvement of the soul"? What are some different ways one could interpret that phrase? How important do you think it is to "care for your soul" and how do you think you would do it?
