Read The Affordable Care Plan and do an Internet search for "health care reform approaches." Select one of the reform approaches, and write a paper in which you cover all of the points listed below.
- In what ways would this type of reform be appropriate for your community?
- What is an issue mentioned in Chapter 14 (such as preventive health, population aging or clinical technology) that is not addressed by your chosen reform method?
- What is ‘lifetime limit'? How will these be affected by the new care plan?
- What are the three things insurance companies must comply with after the plan is enacted?
- In your opinion, are these changes likely to decrease health care costs and increase access to care? Explain your answer.
