Make each article review, its own assignment.
Locate 1 resource that address an area that affects your academic success. Read or view the resource and then write a review of the information. A resource is defined as print, video, or multimedia. If you choose a video, it must be at least 10 minutes in length.
Write a review of the information. The heading should include the following:
- your name and
- a complete link to the resource
The review should be typed in 12-point font and be double-spaced. Make sure to correct basic grammar errors.
In the review, discuss:
- Why you chose the resource. Be sure to address your area of struggle and how the topic addresses this area.
- An overview of the topic that the article addresses. What does the author give for tips and strategies for success in this area? Consider this a list, and actually list what they talk about.
- How the resource impacted you as a student. This section of the paper should address the changes you will make and how it has made a difference in your perception of the area where you are struggling.
- If the article review does not address an area that you are struggling, there will be an automatic 50% reduction in your grade for the paper. It is up to you to make it clear to the reader the why and the how. Be specific and provide support and evidence in order to receive full credit.
