Assignment
Read "Note of a native speaker". Examine the role of assimilation in defining Eric Liu's identity. Write 4-5 pages paper with a given thesis statement.
1. USING THIS FOR THESIS STATEMENT "Liu complete his assimilation through his experience in childhood, his school and his culture differences, also assimilation impacted his life positively as he became a successful person."
2. Paper must follow a chronological sequence, and address all relevant parts of text. Please avoid summary. Focus on critical analysis.
3. Each paragraph must focus on one idea, and be supported with relevant quotes. All quotes require complete, specific explanation/analysis. Remember not to explain quote using words from quote.
4. Paragraph must support thesis.

6. Need background and plot summer at Introduction.
