Rate of entropy production


Water-vapor at 5 bar, 320oC enters a turbine working at steady state having a volumetric flow rate of 0.63 m3/s and expands adiabatically to the exit state of 1 bar, 160oC. Kinetic and potential energy effects are negligible. Evaluate for the turbine (i) the power developed, in kW, (ii) the rate of entropy production, in kW/K, and (iii) the isentropic efficiency of turbine.
