Random variable and the specification limit

A manufacturing process makes AA batteries. The voltage of these batteries is a random variable and the specification limit for an acceptable battery are:

  • Lower specification limit = 1.480 volts
  • Upper specification limit = 1.540 volts

The statistical study for this manufcaturing process revelas that the voltage of the battery follows a normal distribution with mean u=1.520, and standard deviation o=0.015. What percentage of these batteries manufactured by this process does not meet the specification?
