BIG Corp advertises which its light bulbs have a mean lifetime of μ of 3200 hours. Assume that we have reason to doubt this claim and decide to do a statistical test of claim. We select a random sample of light bulbs manufactured by BIG and find out that the mean lifetime for this sample is 3340 hours and that sample standard deviation of the lifetimes is 650 hours.
