Raiser's Edge is considered the Rose Royce of fundraising software. It is a very expensive package that smaller nonprofits cannot begin to include in their operating budget. Many of the larger nonprofit organizations have implemented this software to be their one stop shop in capturing donor information and increase dollars raised. In my experience, I have found that the nonprofit organization that have implemented this software has not and do not fully utilize all of its features. They just use it for acknowledgment letters and basic tracking of donations. You and I both know that it offers much more and can be an awesome tool for closing the gaps of lapsed donors, increase the probability of donor upgrades, and enhance the level of stewardship to an organization's donors.
