question1a tabletop gamer has designed a game

Question1

A tabletop gamer has designed a game that requires three dice to be thrown onto a tray with a measurement grid. To include an extra degree of randomness, coordinates of the center of mass of the three dice are used as well. The mases of the three dice are 12.7 g, 14.5 g, and 18.3 g, and their particular coordinates after one particular throw are (0.459 m, -0.225 m), (-0.231 m, 0.307 m), and (-0.427 m, -0.411 m). What is resulting coordinates of the center of mass of the dice, xcm and ycm?

Question2

Solar radiation enters a narrow, rectangular, east-west canyon at noon. The valley is 100m wide and sides of the canyon are 100m tall. The walls and floor of canyon have an albedo of 0.30. Think about how an individual solar beam is depleted by reflection within canyon.

This beam enters the canyon at 45 and strikes south slope at 70m from the valley floor and is reflected at 90o. Using your computer or graph paper and a straight edge (such as do not draw freehand), illustrate a diagram showing these exchanges and calculate the efficient canyon albedo.
