Question: What kind of society do we want and why? What kind of society do we want to live in and why?
It appears the average person knows the Miss Universe classic answer to what they want for society as such: "world peace". WHY do we not have world peace and love after all these years? After the Holocaust, nations of the world agreed never to allow another genocide so that we can have world peace. When the opportunity created itself for example, to prevent a genocide in Rwanda in 1994, the major nations of the world voted not to send soldiers in on time and some would not even acknowledge that the "new" genocide was a genocide at all. Nearly a million people died. WHY? Stretch the debate and peel the onion. What kind of society do we want and why that kind of society? Also why do we not have ________X________society when we know that this is what we want? The question is deeper than world peace.
