Question for all what do you think of this theory what are

Basically, Semiotics says that once a message is sent out into the world, the message is it's own concept and the receiver can interpret is as they see if, without regard to the sender. For example, if someone writes a book, they have in their head a clear image of what the characters and scenes look like. Someone who reads that book, may have a completely different idea based on their own life experiences. The book stands alone. To take it a step further, a person can write a book as a 20 year old and then go back and read that book as a 70 year old, and what they interpret would be different than what they meant when they wrote it.
