Quartiles and Percentiles
Percentile can be explained as: a measure this tells us what is the percent of the total frequency scored at or below the measure.
Quartiles cab be explained as: Quartile is another term which is referred to in percentile measure. The total of the 100% is broken into equal four parts: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%.
Lower Quartiles (first quartile) is the 25th percentile. (0.25)
Median Quartiles (second quartile) is the 50th percentile. (0.50)
Upper Quartiles (third quartile) is the 75th percentile. (0.75)
