Q. Risk Factors for GDM?
If any of the following risk factors are present in a woman, she may develop GDM:
1) Presence of obesity.
2) If any family members (parents, brothers, sisters) are having diabetes.
3) If she had GDM in the previous pregnancy.
4) If she has delivered large size baby, or if there was fetal death or abortion.
5) Presence of sugar in urine during pregnancy.
