Q. Purpose of Customer Review in project management?

The Customer in conjunction with the Project Manager/ Engineer decides the timing of the IFA review.

This review is conducted prior to issuing the P&IDs for Design (IFD).

The purpose of the review is to resolve any differences or conflicts between the Customer and Colt prior to issuing the P&IDs for IFC.

The review meeting requires the following attendance, as a minimum:

  •  Customer Representative(s)
  •  Lead Process Engineer
  •  Lead Mechanical Engineer
  •  Lead Instrument Engineer
  •  Lead Electrical Engineer (as required)
  •  Controls Engineer (as required)
  • Project Engineer/ Manager.
