ACTIVITY 2: ANALYZING YOUR OWN LISTENING EFFECTIVENESS

Instructions: Critically reflect on your own listening ability and respond thoroughly to the following TEN questions. Include terms from the text to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the theory.

ACTIVITY 3: A CHECKLIST FOR LISTENERS

Purpose: To monitor your listening problems throughout one day. This new awareness can lead to changing listening behavior.

Instructions: PRINT the following checklist (first published in the International Listening Association Newsletter) and keep it with you ONE FULL DAY to monitor your listening problems. Respond to the discussion questions that follows.

CHECKLIST:
