Final Project - Mini-Research Project
Yon will develop a simple research question that you will investigate with a small-scale research project. The research project question can range from serious to silly, as long as it is measurable, and truly a question (you can't know the results ahead of time). Once you have the question you will:
- Develop your Null & Alternative hypotheses. Please write them in words and in symbols.
- Collect your data (n > 10).
- Compute all the descriptive statistics for your data-mean, median, mode, standard deviation & variance.
- Test your findings for significance with the appropriate t-test.
- Write a concluding paragraph regarding your findings, including an assessment of the meaningfulness of your results.
