Her mother knows how to change the wound dressing, and the home health nurse can do more training if needed. Tina will also be tracking her blood sugar at home with finger stick glucose testing, and she has all the supplies at home. Tina has agreed to take her medications as ordered and has the money to get her prescriptions filled. She will be discharged according to the provider's orders, and you need to teach Tina what she needs to know before she goes home.
