As the incoming General Manager for a name property in our destination, (Spice Island Beach Resort), you have requested a report from your Hotel Manager or Resident Manager regarding the following: You are required to: 1. Briefly provide an overview of the resort in your destination.( target market , rating, type of hotel etc) 2. Provide an analysis of the operations of each department clearly outlining any challenges that are being faced, strategies to combat these challenges and a justification for the strategy. 3. With respect to the efficient management of the resort: (a) Identify the existing organizational chart and comment on whether key positions are shown and make recommendations for changes where necessary.
