Problem
Conduct research on one nonprofit organization in a community or industry similar to the one in the event scenario outlined for your project. The organization selected needs to be different from your group members' organizations. Research should include the following: location of their organization, details of their mission statement, knowledge of their volunteer network, current affiliations, and information regarding their donors or supporters.
Project. Compose an e-mail to the president of the nonprofit organization with whom you are seeking to build the partnership. Include the following information in your e-mail to the president:
• Introduce yourself and the company or team you represent, including relevant details of the event.
• Include information gathered through your research that will demonstrate your knowledge of the organization.
• Provide a rationale for your interest in building a partnership with this company, including the shared objectives between the nonprofit and the event (or host company at large).
• Include how you plan to market on behalf of this community partner and the positive impact that will result on the overall mission of the nonprofit organization and the objectives of the event.
The response should include a reference list. Using one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space and APA style of writing and citations.
