Problem
Provide a brief history and general overview of the corrections system and its experiences with distinct correctional clients. Based on the textbook reading, select a specific client group that you are particularly passionate about (women, minorities, juveniles) and further develop your assessment of historical and current practices. Identify a specific general practice challenge, then, using course materials, peer-reviewed, and professional resources (such as LEXIPOL) develop and propose a policy solution that is likely to address and mitigate that challenge. Be sure to address challenges associated with the proposed policy solution (i.e. resistance, resources) while also considering and integrating biblical principles that are explained and supported with cited Scripture.
