Problem
A case study on the Human Rights Law for Vietnam.
i. An overview of human rights in the country, including an assessment of how compliant the constitutional framework is with international norms and laws;
ii. A thematic analysis of the major human rights problems based on international norms and laws;
iii. What part human rights organizations (both IGOs, NGOs and other states) have played in identifying and addressing human rights issues;
iv. The impact that human rights organizations (both IGOs, NGOs and other States) have had (if any) on improving the human rights situation and their effectiveness;
v. The underlying causes of human rights abuses in the country;
vi. Some general commentary on the issue of human rights and international governance. (e.g. are any of the processes and actors in international governance making a difference)
vii. Find additional reports/media articles etc that provide a different perspective on human rights in the country, and court cases that have addressed human rights violations in the country.
