A business case is a best practice employed to convey the project's feasibility to all stakeholders. It includes various information such as the problem, proposed solutions, benefits, and risks. Write a 3- to 4-page business case supporting the procurement of a cloud solution for the credit union that includes:
• Background
• Problem
• Proposed solution, including an analysis of the following:
• cloud client platform
• cloud storage
• deployment configuration
• cloud base layers and components
• Benefit(s) to the business and community
• Risk(s) of not procuring solution
• Risk(s) of procuring solution
This business case will be updated in the Assignment. You may use one of the business case templates provided or create your own layout based on research.
Your meeting with the Board of Directors is approaching. The CTO asked you to draft a diagram of the proposed solution that closes the gaps that were identified. The diagram needs to provide a comprehensive illustration of the new solution integrated into the current environment. Create a 2- to 3-page Microsoft Visio diagram of your proposed solution and include the following:
• Control or virtualization layer
• Resource management
• Cloud service catalog
• Labels for each component in the diagram
• Description of how each component is related
An Enterprise Security and Architect Technical Resource are part of the project core team. You have met with the technical resources to obtain the security and architect requirements necessary to update the business case and diagram to assist the CTO with the proposed solution.Build on and update your diagram created, by adding the role of business continuity, a disaster recovery plan, and the relationship to the cloud. Update your business case to the President and Board of Directors with the following information:
• An explanation of the role of risk, compliance, and security
• A best practice type of data protection
• An explanation of the key cloud-based security standards using appropriate terminology to provide clarity during the review process
• The updated diagram
