There has been an ongoing debate in our society about raising the minimum wage to a "living wage". Politicians, business owners and the working poor are constantly arguing for and against raising it. Please read the NY Times/Walmart article Preview the documentas well as the Pros and Cons article Preview the document that are attached to this assignment and then provide an argument about why it should or should not be increased.
I want you to also focus on the responsibility that a company like Wal-Mart should have on paying their employees and is that responsibility different for small "mom and pop" businesses.
