You are a hired Network Engineer for IT for the University of California and you have to propose and design a network for a new building in Glendale California. This building will be connected to the main building in Los Angeles California. by a Wide Area Network. You have to complete a design for applying for the network building to the new one in Glendale which is opening in the summer of 2016. The building is both furnished and wired up with CAT5 Ethernet cables and fiber cables.
Duties:
Students have to be able to access Wifi from their classes. The structure in Glendale will have space for a office for administrators and space for 4 computer labs.
- CS Lab has 6 workstations
-Media Lab has 6 workstations
-General Lab has 8 workstations
-Engineers Lab has 6 workstations
-Adminstrators has 6 workstations
Proposal:
Complete in a MS powerpoint document with pictures/tables/topology/ and etcetera
Propose a solution with your equipment list and network topology
Project should have links with pictures based on your solution for the info you are providing
All the workstations have to include Microsoft office, Email, and Web. the network address is 173.157.100.0-173.157.200.0. The subnet mask is 277.277.277.0
