2. You only need one case and the case must be a California case.
3. Properly brief the case (FILAC).
4. Properly cite the case.
5. Make sure the case is post 1980.
6. Properly cite the California Code.
7. Make sure the California Code you selected is used in the Case.
8. Properly cite the California Code.
9. Remember the California Code is after the title and before "History".
10. Make sure to subtitle each section (Introduction, Law, Rationale, Case Analysis, Social Impact and Personal Opinion.
11. The social impact statement and personal opinion must be at least a half page long.
12. If you use a journal article, properly cite the journal article in terms of author, title, journal, pages, volume and date of publication.
13. Proof read before submission (have someone else review before submission).
