Project Topic - Principles of Advertising
For this project you will research a company who experienced a recent (no more than five years ago) issue in regards to their advertising. This could be an ethical issue or a legal issue wherethe company guilty of some type of deception. Possible examples include: price gouging or false advertising claims.
You will write a 3-5 page double spaced paper summarizing the incident - include all pertinent information (as you feel is appropriate). Your will need to cite the source(s) of your information within the body of the paper and on the reference sheet - neither of these two pages will count towards the minimum of 3 pages. Do NOT simply copy and paste -summarize in your own words. Any paper plagiarized more than 15% will receive a grade of zero and you will not be allowed to make this up.
After writing the paper - create a 5-8 slide PowerPoint - explaining briefly the situation outlined in the paper and your recommendations so this would never happen again.
