Prof. Donner has a great idea for an invention. He thinks that he has figured out how to make a piece of electronic equipment that could increase the speed of any fax transmission tenfold. List as many obstacles as you can think of that could 1. Keep him from getting a patent, and 2. Would it make any difference if somebody else already had a patent for it but was not currently marketing it? If Donner can get the patent, he wants to call it "Speedyfacts," and wants to get a copyright on the name. 3. Can he do that? Your grade point question will be based to a large extent on your explanation of how you reached your conclusions.
