Company manufactures hats that goes through 2 processes : construction and packaging. In the construction process, materials are dyed, cut and shaped in to hats. In the packaging department, the hats are packaged and sent to finished goods warehouse. All materials are entered at the beginning of each process. Labor and manufacturing overhead are incurred uniformly throughout each process. Production and cost data for the Construction department during August 2013 are presented below.
