The first industry that came to mind was fast food. While driving down a highway, there are so many food options available. Product differentiation plays a roll in attracting customers with quite literally a variety of tastes. For smaller view, hamburger restaurants are one of the most common in this segment. There are countless hamburger restaurants, but they each are slightly different than the next in ways such as topping options, restaurant atmosphere, customer service and item pairings. Customers are then able to pick and choose with element best fits their desires and purchase a meal.
