The general case for your system.
Each student must produce a requirements specification document that includes:
1) An introductory 'vision' blurb for your system (2-3 pages at most).
2) A brief market analysis on the competition (2-3 pages at most).
3) A specification of the requirements for your system. Two sections are expected: A first one for functional requirements, a second one for non-functional ones.
4) A business analysis with figures that shows the market appeal of your system (no more than two pages).
Your assignment will be marked in terms of:
a) The quality of your document (layout, English, sectioning, distribution).
b) The quality and the completeness of your review of existing systems and of their current drawbacks.
c) The correctness and the completeness of your system requirements specification.
d) The quality of your business analysis.
Remember that the document you submit should be no more than 15 pages in length
