This study could survey children of families and get curious about how each member perceives communication with their fathers. Data collection might be in-depth interviews and reflections (Richards & Morse, 2013).
The ethnographic question might be what are the patterns associated with Dad's from farming communities? This study might look at Dad's from many different communities and compare/contrast their communication styles. Using unstructured interviews and participant observations (Richards & Morse, 2013).
The grounded theory might be what is the process of communication between Dad's from farming communities and their families? This study might watch families over time and observe how they interact.
