*Question: What do you think the most problematic feature of American democratic capitalism compared to other wealthy democracies? And what needs to be done to tackle that problem? (HINT: American Health Care System)
*Write an essay to answer the given question drawing on class reading materials. Using additional academic and non-academic sources is optional. The essay should include the student’s own argument supported by logical reasoning and relevant evidences. It should be organized as logically as possible.
*Length: maximum of four pages and minimum of three and a half pages (excluding a bibliography page).
*Font: Times New Roman and 12-font size
*Margin: use regular margin (1 inch for all sides)
*Spacing: double-spaced lining.
*No cover page: type the student name and the essay title at the top of the first page.
*Include introduction and conclusion paragraph.
*Avoid a lengthy quotation (limit the length of a quotation within two lines).
*Reference requirement: the paper must include at least 10 references from at least 5 different academic sources from our class readings. Academic sources include books, academic articles published in academic journals, official documents such as government reports and laws, official statistical data, and survey/polling data from an established survey organization, but exclude Wikipedia materials.
Students may refer to non-academic articles such as novels, newspaper articles, and blogger’s posts in addition to ten references from five different “academic” sources.
