Problem related to emotional intelligence

Problem:

Through this week's emotional intelligence assessment, I learned that my lowest scores were in the areas of motivation and social awareness. These results highlighted a shift I have noticed in myself recently. I have become less inclined to socialize, less willing to manage relationships, and more protective of my emotional energy. I realized that I have been prioritizing the emotions and needs of others for so long that I stopped honoring my own. As a result, I have experienced emotional fatigue and a decrease in the internal drive that normally supports my goals.

I can apply these insights in my professional life by setting clearer boundaries and managing my energy with more intention. Instead of forcing myself to engage socially when it feels draining, I will focus on being present and consistent in moments that truly matter. Understanding these areas also allows me to communicate more effectively with colleagues and avoid burnout by pacing myself.

The key areas I want to strengthen are motivation and relationship management. Improving my motivation will help me stay aligned with my values and maintain momentum toward my long-term goals. Enhancing my relationship management skills will support healthier interactions with peers and help me navigate workplace dynamics with more confidence. Strengthening these areas will ultimately improve my overall emotional intelligence and support my growth as a developing professional.
