Hello Everyone, According to Robert E. Slavin, he takes about different types of teachers, learning methods and what makes them different from each other. I feel like you can do both teach and educate students. It all depends on the lesson you are doing at that moment and time. As an intentional teacher you must have compassion, be useful and available to the children and the goals that you want to be meet. Having intentional teaching for students is important because teachers know exactly what they want to teach students. It also helps them learn how to develop different types of useful skills that they can utilize on a daily basis while they are in a classroom setting and outside the class. Children can learn through different methods and when you teach with a style of intention you know that they might grasp the concept more. As a teacher your job is to make sure you are giving students all the information they need to achieve and grow. My 5th grade teacher was one that I would never forget. She always took the time to connect with each student, by making sure we all understood what she was teaching us before moving on. If we did not understand she would go over the work and even do small groups with us. She made every lesson she taught fun, hands on and exciting. She was a great teacher. Need Assignment Help?
