A proposal paper is a document mean to convince the reader to take a specific action. In so doing, you must convince the reader that not taking action could lead to unpleasant consequences. To achieve these goals, you must know your audience and what type of consequences are meaningful to them.
A good proposal paper will have four basic sections. The first paragraph will be an expanded explanation for the need of such a project. This explanation will lead into the possible negative occurrences of ignoring the problem.
Next, the costs of improvements or repair must be investigated and deemed feasible for the reader. Don't skimp on this part! Be thorough and accurate.
Finally, explain the benefits to all concerned of addressing this matter in a timely manner. Considerations such as health and safety are particularly meaningful.
Your essay should be 1200 words and use four to five sources. MLA format and an annotated bibliography is required.
