Assignment task:
Course: HLS Sports/Large Events Security
Note: I need help with this project by answering the rubric questions or instructions based on the event I attended. (For the assignment, we are required to attend a UNH live event. Therefore, I attended the Northeastern vs New Hampshire Women's Basketball: It was on November 29, 2023, at 6 pm at the UNH Arena in Durham, NH: Lundholm Gym located in the University of New Hampshire). (I really need help with this, so please read everything before starting answering)
Prompt & Requirements: Select a venue or large event and meet with management or a management representative.
YOU MUST ATTEND A LIVE EVENT.
Examples of live events include:
- large UNH events.
- road races
- track races
- cycling events
- football, baseball, soccer, and other sports events.
You may need to look outside the UNH campus for events.
Written paper should be no less than six and no more than ten pages, excluding cover sheet and reference page. Pictures are not included as part of the five to ten pages. All pictures, maps, etc. should be attachments.
Rubric:
- Introduction and objectives/Executive summary. (Limit this to four hundred to five hundred words maximum)
- Site information and Background. (Provide 3 photographs (minimum) of the event as part of your site information and site background description.)
- Facility characteristics and asset identification. (Provide photos and a brief description. Photos must be of the event you reviewed and not uploaded from a third party such as an online magazine or newspaper.)
- Threat Analysis: Potential threats to the venues. (Answering questions of potential threats to the venues. List and describe five threats to the venue. Must be accurate and descriptive)
- Describe the Likelihood/Probability of incidents occurring at this venue. (Describe why you chose these 5 events as having a probability of occurring. Must be descriptive and specific. Cite prior examples at sports events nationwide, Must be accurate and descriptive)
- Identify Venue Security Strengths. (List and describe 5 strengths. Must be accurate and descriptive.)
- List and describe 5 venue weaknesses. (List and describe 5 strengths. Must be accurate and descriptive.)
- Does this facility use Multi-Agency Collaboration? (If so, which agencies does the venue collaborate with?)
- Do you feel safe overall at this facility? (Yes or no and why. Provide a reference page with at least 5 references.)
- Post Video in MY MEDIA- Upload a video link to your document. (The video should describe the facility and occur while you on-site at the event.)
- Professor's opinion of the report.
