Question: This study will be informed by the Social Cohesion Theory, and purports that social inclusion and access to resources lead to better community relationships and collective efficacy. This theory is relevant as it has implications for inclusive policies, including driver's licenses, in promoting social integration and stability. Using this framework, the study can begin to explore how reduced barriers to licensure may result in improved driver training and insurance that will serve to improve community safety and economic opportunity.
