Problem regarding individualized functional analysis

Problem:

Summarize: Adam participated in an individualized functional analysis to identify some of the variables related to his aggression, tantrum and other problem behavior. During this analysis, conditions alternated between a control condition in which Adam was given free access to playing with preferred toys with his teacher in the location of his choosing (playground, classroom, etc.) and a test condition in which Adam was asked to relinquish his toys and transition to the desk to complete work. During each of these sessions, we measured whether and how quickly Adam began to show precursor signs of frustration or engage in self-injury. These data are graphed based on performance. The solid black line next to "Reinforcement" indicates the duration in which Adam was in the control condition and had free access to playing with his toys and teacher. The solid black line and gray bars next to "EO" shows the duration of the test condition where staff told Adam it was time to be done playing and transition to completing work. Once severe or minor problem behavior occurred in EO, indicated by the open diamonds in the "nondangerous" line the test condition was terminated and all reinforcers were immediately provided. Adam then went back into the control condition. The dashed line on the "engaged" and "calm" lines indicates how quickly Adam was happy, relaxed and engaged once he was in the control condition and had free access to toys and his teacher.
